Landscape Project Manager
Description
The Landscape Project Manager is a management position that plays a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of operations, procurement and business development that contribute towards Company specific goals. The Landscape Project Manager must be thoroughly familiar with all aspects of landscape, hardscape, and irrigation construction to include customer service, estimating, procurement, production, scheduling, etc. The Landscape Project Manager oversees the installation of landscaping projects on a daily basis while interfacing with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. The Landscape Project Manager must also interface with operations, sales, and accounting personnel.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in landscape, hardscape, irrigation and construction sectors.
- An associate’s degree (preferably in the green industry).
- Certified Landscape Professional (CLP) certificate preferred.
- Able to effectively supervise up to three projects simultaneously.
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Vendor management, purchasing and estimating experience a must.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and must be insurable on company’s insurance policy.
- Proficient or able to learn customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Proficient in both oral and written communications.
- Able to uphold and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure safety of landscape field personnel and properly report accidents and/or injuries.
- Ensure jobs are scheduled and completed within budget.
- Hire, terminate, train, evaluate, and supervise operational team.
- Ensure all equipment is operable, ready for deployment and safe for use.
- Assist in development and implementation of the Company’s training goals.
